Life is promise to no one, you can wake up one morning and your entire life can change forever. It could be a sudden death in the family, a severe sickness, a divorce, or even a breakup. No matter what the situation is that altered your life , all you know now is your life will never be the same. The question is how do we prepare for change rather it’s good, or bad? Some of us do not adapt to change easily, usually it’s a process that we go through in order for us to really accept the change or even to mentally realize that I will never have my old life back again.
Change is not easy; it’s hard to accept change when your life is in turmoil. Now comes the “what if.” What if I didn’t do this, or what if I tried to compromise, and then finally you start blaming yourself? I’m sure you can relate because I know I can. In life, we are sometimes hard on ourselves not realizing that nothing in life is going to last forever. Relationships will come and go, tragic situations will occur in life, jobs and your careers can falter as well.
It’s always good to have some type of emergency plan for any type of situation that may occur in life. Every pay check you should takeout 10% for tithing, 10% for yourself and 10% should go into a saving account that you should never touch unless it’s emergencies only, this is the purpose of a savings account. I had to learn this the hard way, if you’re on a budget live like you’re on a budget, stop trying to impress the Joneses. My motto is if you can’t buy it straight out then you can’t afford it, so obviously you don’t need it. Live within your means people.
As humans we can never predict what will happen in life; but we can make our life a lot easier if we prepare, and have some type of emergency plan if our life will turn upside down at least you would have some type of backup plan ready to go when a crisis do happen in your life.
